Alongside the participants, the observers are the people who make our Festival tick. Being there to watch one of our masterclasses isn’t like being a member of any old classical audience. Instead you’ll have the chance to actually meet both the professors and the participants, and you’ll be among the first to discover the stars of tomorrow!
The observer role is suited to just about every lover of music. Perhaps you’re an aspiring pianist who wants to get a head-start with new repertoire, or a teacher looking to broaden your palette of pedagogical methods; or maybe you’re just a classical music enthusiast who’s always wondered how concert pianists manage such highly-polished performances. If any of those sound familiar, then coming to the Festival as an observer is the choice for you!
The quality of the master classes was high, and there were many to choose from. The recitals every night were wonderful and inspiring.
